Share Learning Activities & Approaches
Detailed information
Learning technologies developed in recent years have the creative potential for improving the quality of learning. However, this potential will only unfold if
- institutions implement suitable methodologies and learning cultures,
- and if instructors become able to integrate active learning by choosing suitable activities.
As the effects of assessments like Pisa show, learning institutions and educators want to benefit from the different learning cultures existing in Europe.
The European Methopedia community is therefore being developed for blended learning experts
- to share knowledge,
- methods and
- designs on a wiki-based platform.
In addition to didactical content it is meant to function as a social network site for experts to meet and connect and share their views and experiences.
The target group of Methopedia are
- mainly educators/trainers,
- but also administrators and students
